Circles
Series of 9 collages, colored, wasi and painted paper 20x20cm

This beginning of this series started with the find of traditional Chinese painting papers. They all have the same layout, beige textured background with a circle in the middle.
I decided to start to work with this layout and creat- ed a series of compositions based on this shape.
Sometimes the circle is a sun, a part of the architec- ture, or a landscape. The textured and pattern pa- pers are mixing to create a playful picture rhythmi- cally by the circle.
This series is linked. The viewer is welcomed to look at it as a panorama story.
