La fabrication

Chaque pièce est créée à la main à l’atelier de Taipei (Taiwan). La soie est peinte à la main avec une peinture spécialement pour ce tissu. Les finitions des foulards sont faites par une couturière. Les accessoires sont imaginés à l’atelier et cousus main par un atelier situé à Taipei.

Le fait main

Tout est fait à la main ! le tracé du dessin sur la soie, la mise en couleur. Peindre à la main est pour moi le choix du geste, d’entretenir un savoir-faire. C’est aussi le choix de l’unique, avec son histoire et parfois ses petits défauts. Le résultat n’est pas celui d’une impression sur tissu, il n’est pas mécanique. Il se peut donc parfois que la peinture ait quelques petits défauts.

Délais de fabrication

Les pièces en stock sont envoyées quelques jours après commande. Pour un article sur commande, un délai de 10 jours (sans envoi) est à prévoir. Après avoir pris contact avec vous et discuter du projet, je vous donnerai une idée du temps à prévoir. Le temps d’imaginer, discuter avec vous et créer.

Le sur mesure

Si vous avez un évènement spécial (un mariage par exemple), un projet qui nécessite une taille particulière (une soie pour un espace par exemple) n’hésitez pas à nous contacter. Avec le sur-mesure tout est possible ! Je serai ravie de vous écouter et d’essayer de répondre à votre commande.

Pour tous les produits

Atelier canopée s’engage à rembourser votre commande (hors frai de livraisons) selon ces conditions

- Délai de 14 jours à partir de la date à laquelle vous avez reçu le produit

- Le produit ne doit pas avoir été portés ou être endommagés et doivent être retournés dans l’emballage d’origine

Les conditions sont les mêmes. Cependant n’hésitez pas à nous contacter directement pour nous faire part de ce qui vous déplait, une solution peut toujours être trouvée.

En fonction des projects, Atelier Canopée utilise trois sortes de soie

Chiffon

Le chiffon de soie, ou mousseline de soie, est une soie transparente, très légère et aérienne, un peu comme un voile. Elle donne une belle transparence aux couleurs tout en conservant leur vivacité

Satin

Le satin de soie se distingue par l’éclat nacré naturel du tissu. Très fluide, il possède un côté mat et un côté brillant. Sa brillance fait ressortir les couleurs et leur donne un reflet tout particulier. Le tissu est opaque et se révèle très doux au toucher.

Twill

Le twill de soie est une soie très résistante reconnaissable à sa trame très serrée en diagonale. Le twill prend bien la lumièrerend les couleurs lumineuses et vives.

Lavage

Laver votre pièce de soie à l’eau froide, un savon neutre (ou un produit spécial soie) et à la main. Ne pas laisser la soie trempée. Vous pouvez aussi le porter au pressing.

Séchage

Faites sécher votre soie à plat en évitant une lumière directe. Ne jamais mettre au sèche-linge.

Repassage

Régler votre fer à repasser sur soie (120-130°) et utiliser une pattemouille ce qui protègera votre soie et évitera les brûlures.

The making

Each piece is created by hand at the studio in Taipei (Taiwan). The silk is hand-painted with paint, especially for this fabric. The finishes of scarves are made by a seamstress. The accessories are designed in the studio and hand-sewn by a studio located in Taipei.

The handmade

Everything is handmade! From the layout of the drawing on the silk to the coloring. Painting by hand is for me the choice of gesture, of maintaining know-how. It is also the choice to make unique pieces, with their history and sometimes their small flaws. The result is not a print on fabrics, it is not mechanical. It is therefore sometimes possible that the paint has some small defects.

Creation delays

Items in stock are sent a few days after ordering. For an item on order, a period of 10 days (without sending) is to be expected. After contacting you and discussing the project, I will give you an idea of the time to expect. Time to imagine, discuss with you, and create.

The tailor-made

If you have a special event (a wedding for example), or a project that requires a particular size (silk for a space for example) do not hesitate to contact me directly. With tailor-made everything is possible! I will be happy to listen to you and try to fulfill your order.

Atelier canopée undertakes to reimburse your order (excluding delivery costs) according to these conditions

- 14 days from the date you received the product

- The product must not have been worn or be damaged and must be returned in the original packaging

The conditions are the same. However, do not hesitate to contact us directly to let us know what you dislike, a solution can always be found.

Depending on the projects Atelier Canopée uses 3 types of silk.

Silk satin, or silk charmeuse is distinguish itself by the pearly naturel sheen on the fabric. Airy and fluid, she possesses one matte side and one shiny. Its shine gives to the colours a particular aspect, pearly and vivid. Opaque, the fabric is very soft and comfortable to wear.

Silk crêpe is a transparent silk. Airy and featherweight, it’s made with twisted threads that give a distinct, pebbly texture to the fabric. Crêpe has a matte sheen with a slightly rough surface. It gives to the colors a beautiful transparency while they remain vivid.

Silk twill, or serge, is a sturdier fabric in a twill weave. You can recognise a silk twill by its characteristic : diagonal stripes. Plain, the colors are on it vivid and luminous.

Washing

Wash your silk piece in cold water, neutral soap (or a special silk product) and by hand. Do not leave the silk soaked. You can also take it to the laundry.

Drying

Dry your silk flat, avoiding direct light. Never tumble dry.

Ironing

Set your iron on silk (120-130°) and use a damp cloth which will protect your silk and prevent burns.
