Inspired by Asian silk painting scrolls, Atelier Canopée's paintings depict an imagineray tropical nature to be hanged on wall. To be read from bottom to top, the paintings are colourful and lush. The silk is framed by solid color side bands to emphasize the design.

About the scroll paintings...
Originally from China, the scroll paintings are presented in the form of a scroll supported by a thin wooden stick and weighted by another. It is unrolled to hang it inside or outside. The scrolls are hung for short periods and can be alternated according to the seasons or events. The paintings presented are on silk, paper and can also present calligraphy. The foreground is at the bottom, and the middle and background are on the middle and the top.
