My recent research is part of a textile collage approach, where patterns and silk offcuts become material for creating mental landscapes.
These compositions combine fragments of printed patterns from my fabric libraries with remnants of silk paintings taken from scarves or experimental works. Bright colors and organic shapes construct hybrid landscapes, between abstraction and figuration.
The elements seem to float and intertwine; the eye moves freely, invited to mentally reconstruct the image.
